Ale McHaddo
Ale Mchaddo is a trans woman director, writer and producer, graduated in Fine Arts at University of São Paulo (USP) and with a master’s degree in Interactive Narratives in the same university. Ale is founder and partner of 44 Toons, one of the most important animation studios in Brazil. Ale is president of the Brazilian Association of Animation Companies and collaborated for the creation of many projects that made the art of animation grew in Brazil. Ale McHaddo’s career started in 1996, launching the adventure game, The Shynx Enigma, one of the best-selling games in Brazil to present day. Working as an Game Designer and Film Director at the same time, Ale has directed many award-winning shorts like Killer Lasagna, Osmar, the Heel of the Loaf and the controversial D. on Ice. He is the creator, director and show runner of the animated series Newbie and the Disasternauts, and Osmar the first Slice of the Loaf. In 2017. Ale’s first feature film was launched in 2017, the animation Gadgetgang in Outer Space. Since 2017 Ale begin to directed live action films, in 2021 the comedy Just Short of Perfect was release on Netflix, and conquering the top 10 position in many countries and becoming the most watched movie in non English language.
