Refreshingly ordinary
"7500" immerses you in a hijack situation with palpable tension. There's nothing woke to break the fourth wall.
This movie avoids the typical woke elements. Unlike other hijack films, it doesn't whitewash the hijackers. It features relationship between a white American man and a half German, half Turkish woman, but it does not seem forced. It's just odd that they are not married, despite having a three-year-old son.
The 2019 movie "7500" is not to be confused with the 2014 movie "Flight 7500". The latter is bad.
"7500" is incredibly effective at putting you in the pilot's seat during a hijacking. The film is traumatic but well-executed.
