Banzai!
This is a gripping war film in Japanese from the point of view of the Japanese, directed by Clint Eastwood. I feel like I experienced the utter insanity of war, a bit like Apocalypse Now. The Japanese were overwhelmed by American production, but also crippled by a culture that holds saving face above command and control. Nothing woke.
