Maima: The Water Spirit

Wherever the Universe carried her, / she heard the waves of the ocean. / And like a newborn turtle, the subconscious memory always knew the route to home. Maima: The Water Spirit is a dance performance exploring the language of movement as a way of communication and time travel through music. Maima channels what makes one feel at home by embodying the elements of water through the tides and earth through the sand.
