Home Alone vs Soviet invaders

In this prequel to Home Alone and Dirty Dancing, the Soviets start their invasion of America by parachuting elite troops in to assault a high school in Colorado. Some of the high school students escape and go on to lead a highly successful guerilla campaign, when in reality they would have been wiped out quickly. For a tad more credibility, the kids are facing Cuban regulars for most of the engagements. The movie is not intended to be realistic, though, and it mostly works as popcorn entertainment.

One could make comparisons to the current situation in Ukraine. In response, some Eastern European countries are starting to allow their cucked citizens to own guns - with much documentation. In the movie, the very first order of business of the invaders after combat was to get the government registries of guns. And the sad truth is that Coloradan high school students are better trained and equipped than European civilians.
