Funny man in space
Not at all a comedy. Based on the book, but spoiler alert, don't expect the same ending. No woke themes. Seems to be set around the 70s-90s based on the technology. Not sure how many Indian's in Czech. So "Raj" was a DIE hire.

Wut?
Not a comedy. Almost not sci-fi. It is more of an inner journey than external, like if 2001: A Space Odyssey were about one man's internal struggles instead of the destiny of Mankind. It is very art house, so not everyone's cup of tea, including mine.
The Indian at ground control seems DEI for the Czech Republic in the late 1970's(?), but it's also an alternate timeline in which they have discovered quantum-entangled instananeous communications at hundreds of millions of miles distance, so who knows? I will give it a single woke point.
