"I find your lack of diversity disturbing."

"Star Wars" remains one of the greatest films of all time. The plot is electrifying, and the special effects are mesmerizing. There is no forced diversity. However, it is starting to show its age and was never perfect.

Some of Darth Vader's dialogue feels awkward, likely due to James Earl Jones' voice being dubbed in post-production. This results in slight misalignments between Vader and other characters' lines, causing subtle discomfort for the audience.

The famous cantina scene has always bothered me. Most of the aliens are laughable, with only "Hammerhead", Greedo, and Chewbacca being somewhat believable. And Chewbacca is just a rebranded Bigfoot.

Mark Hamill's performance as Luke Skywalker is another weak point. His acting seems more suited to a 1970s TV sitcom, contrasting sharply with the strong performances around him. He acquired his early experience on shows like "The Cosby Show," "The Partridge Family," and "General Hospital," as well as animated series like "The New Scooby-Doo Movies" and "Jeannie". Luke's infamous whine, "But I was going to Tosche Station to pick up some power converters!" is overdone and not the only instance of Hamill's subpar acting. What was George Lucas thinking?! And now Mark Hamill is extra whiny with his TDS.

I'm still not on board with the changes George Lucas made long after the film's initial release. Next time, I plan to hunt down an original version.

Despite these criticisms, I love the film. It's a shame what happened to the franchise later on.
