Like gulping down a jug of Toxic Masculinity while standing at the open refrigerator! Refreshing!!!
Excellent representation of the strengths and weaknesses differentiated between genders in the most raw and violent way possible.

Cruel cruel fate
Bold and very bloodthirsty. No politics here, just cruel cruel fate.

No Woke. More Boring Arthouse Nonsense Though.
No woke here that I saw. That being said I just could not get into this. It's just more of the long drawn out scenes with pointless long CG 'artsy' scenes to artificially lengthen the film. The acting and dialog was not very good. The sets as well just didn't look right. Actually everything looked and felt like watching a high concept theater play that just couldn't pull if off. Too bad, was really looking forward to this one.

Mystic meh
There is a near-incest scene. That was a weird scene. Woke or just weird?
The rest of the movie is filled with mystical madness. The TV series Vikings did some of this, but here the mysticism is central, and it was an overdose for me.
I think the director was going for a Greek tragedy, Viking style. The near-incest scene might even have been a Greek tragedy reference. Overall, I didn't find it enjoyable.
