very good movie, wouldn't say is woke but the mc is a female robot that becomes a strong mother type of stuff
Wouldn't consider really woke because it makes sense with the story, even tough it checks some elements that you could consider woke.

"The Wild Robot" is a familiar story, with a glitchy, lovable robot like WALL-E and an alliance of wildlife like Bambi. However, it's entertaining and not woke.
The robot is voiced by Kenyan actress Lupita Nyong'o. Ironically, if they had chosen an American black for the role, say SNL's Leslie Jones, it might have been jarring, because you might have heard the robot as black. Lupita consciously lost her Kenyan accent in favor of an American accent, she says, though her voice in interviews is like a "mid-Atlantic" accent: half East Coast, half British.
I did not find myself bored, which is saying something for me with an animated film. It is okay for kids or adults.

Excellent Animated Film With Some Incidental Woke Elements
This movie is low key woke in casting only. While not in your face and preachy it is absolutly there in the background. Out of the three main
characters only 1 is voiced by a white actor and he's the helpless gosling. The other 2 are Spanish and Black. All of the helper robots are female voiced as is the retrieval robot. Only the big bulky dumb security robots are male voiced. That I can remember there are only 2-3 scenes lasting only 2-3 seconds with human characters in them but it appeared they were almost all if not all female and mostly black. That being said these are minor things and in no way distract from how good this movie is but they should be noted. The animation and lighting is amazing the voice acting is all spot on and the story is great if a little sappy at times. Overall this is an incredible animated film and one of the better ones I've seen in some time.
