Meanwhile, Kawatani (Hitoshi Ozawa) is attacked by a hitman sent by Watanabe, the former Kyowakai HQ chief plotting a comeback. Isolated within the executive ranks, Kijima confronts Watanabe but gradually wavers under his influence.
