Delightful
Not woke at all. Panned by critics, but generally loved by the public. (Hmm, maybe a correlation there.)
Released in 2016, it's one of very few movies in the last decade that I thoroughly enjoyed. I think the movie should have started at the point when Aurora (Jennifer Lawrence) wakes up from space travel hybernation, but that would have radically altered the perspective and the final effect, so who knows?
Remember long ago when Jennifer Lawrence came out of nowhere and was being pushed as the most beautiful woman in the world in every publication? Yeah, that artificial promotion annoyed me, and in retrospect it was probably due to Harvey Weinstein. Jennifer probably paid the iron price.
What if the movie is actually referring to Jennifer's fate? Like her character Aurora, Jennifer Lawrence was presumably seduced into a position that made her feel sick, but she perhaps eventually grew to love her abuser and to enjoy the paradise that she was forced into, ultimately choosing to stay in that situation. If that was the director's intent, then damn, maybe it deserves a 5/5, but I'll conservatively give it a 4/5.

Mr. Spin
Definitely not woke and so amazing
What a masterpiece. Stunning visuals, genius acting, great movie. If not for so a-little-predictable ending and depriving the audience of keeping contemplating of all the pros and cons of main hero actions...
But I am being too nit-picky. Amazing. You wont regret you watched it. I didn't.
