Not half the film Spielberg made
Although there is a scene or two which tries to confabulate an explanation for the crappy not-dinosaurs, there is really no excuse for the woke that permeates the film. Diversity is great, equality is great, but this film goes out of its way to make it awkward, cringey and unnatural. Woke indeed, and on the wrong side of the Dino-sheeted bed.

Not woke but not great
The plot is implausible, even by dinosaur movie standards. However, I saw nothing particularly woke.
MINOR SPOILERS FOLLOW
The plot is absurd, because who would take the risk of moving dinosaurs from a Costa Rican island to California and then auctioning them to Russian mafia and the like? The Feds would intervene, big time.
For wokeness, the main question marks are the two minority supporting characters. The black guy is annoying, because he is a wuss. While watching the movie, I was examining his potential wokeness mostly due to being a weak male, not due to being a DEI hire. The Mexican woman was fine, I thought, and I didn't even perceive her as Mexican until I read her bio. I don't mind diversity in casting if it reflects diversity in reality. These two characters plus the white leading lady work for the Dinosaur Protection Group based in San Francisco. So, yeah, it's going to be mostly blacks and Mexicans working there, and, sadly, most will be gay. So, I'll allow it.
At the end, there is also a bit of the "coexist" propaganda that the next movie builds on. I am not even sure whether the director is sincere there or doing it as a sarcastic commentary on the current illegal immigration crisis. Anyway, it's too brief to throw a woke flag.
Overall, it is popcorn fare, watchable if you have made it through all the earlier Jurassic movies. It is not going to indoctrinate you but neither will it impress you.

"soft and witless" writers
"i'm not as soft and witless as your comment implies. let's go beefcake." --- that's exactly what a soft and witless hag who's never seen the outside of a science lab would say to an experienced mercenary and hunter.
this kind of pissant writing has lowkey been present since the first JP. looking at you Laura Dern. it's obvious who the real "sexists" are in these movies.
ironically enough, Amanda Kirby from JP3 --- who is unjustly overhated for very trivial reasons --- seems to be the ONLY character throughout the franchise who doesn't have a shred of "tough girl" tropes written in (claire a close second).
you can write a competent woman in a script without her being an insufferable bitch. learn a thing or two from the MISSION IMPOSSIBLE movies if you don't have a clue on how to do that.
but then again it's hollywood so being insufferable is more or less their thing.
