Stupid fun, great to watch with friends

Batman gets transported to feudal Japan, along with the batfamily and a bunch of supervillains. Which on itself is a good enough hook to warrant a watch
The first half of the movie is so extremely unique visually, you'd think the director crystalized the essence of swag, then proceeded to crush it up and snort it through a silly straw. But then Batman learns about the power of friendship and sucks out all the rendering effects. And I'm only half joking about that. But there's a megazord fight afterwards so it balances out.
I can't say much about the plot because there's barely any. Half the villains get next to no screentime and are acting wildly out of character (Like Poison Ivy getting a steel plant built). But there's a megazord fight afterwards so it balances out.
It's also near comedic that the movie does not give you a second to ponder on any foreshadowing. - "GORILLA GRUD IS GONNA BETRAY YOU, BATMAN" and then he does just that. Exactly 8 seconds later. Incredible!
So is it a good movie? Not really.
Is it good Batman movie? Yessir, they really nail the funny side of the Batman universe
Is it a great movie to watch with a bunch of friends and just lose all your collective marbles at the sheer absurdity that is the megazord fight i keep mentioning? Absolutely!
And Daimiyo Joker is maybe one of my favorite Joker designs ever

As for woke? Standard Batman dose of woke. There's jewish people, people that wanna battle climate change, bossy cat ladies who act like they own the place
And a talking gorilla. Although I'm not sure if he counts


Needed a mental break so I ported over my review of this from some other site, still need to find time and watch the sequel!
