No real woke

Despite the cringey fate of its creators, the Matrix started out as a painfully 90's icon that had everyone walking around with black trenchcoats and pretending they were the first to do so.
No real woke. A couple feministy quips here and there, but this was before funny quips like that were standard fare, so they come across as endearing.
No woke to contend with.
And as we know, if you're on this site, you've already been red-pilled.

No woke at all, no idea why anybody would call it "mild woke"

The only Matrix film worth watching, but it is worth watching!

This film isn’t as CGI heavy as it’s sequels, and it’s by far the best of the franchise. That scene where Morpheus reveals the Matrix’s nature to Neo still gives me chills all these years later. We’re batteries to the machine folks… remunerated slaves on a tax farm.

The antidote to woke

This is THE anti-NPC and hence anti-woke film. It is a futuristic version of Plato's Allegory of the Cave. I don't know what the hell happened to the film's writers later. It seems like the real world Matrix took revenge on them.
