What a surprise!
Initially I had no expectations for this; watched it because of a reviewer and it was very fun. Kickass action, funny humor, not a trace of woke. Recommended if you like John Wick/Dirty Harry type movies.

Nobody does it better…
The great Bob Odenkirk makes this action movie very entertaining viewing with his usual mix of everyman charm and dry humour. How come so many other action stars get sucked into woke roles in woke movies when folk like Bob manage to stick to their principles?

Enjoyable movie of revenge with unrealistic moments
Enjoyable but could have been better without him being a super badass already and agenda pushing moments which are very brief.
Main character is White and his "brother" is black. Usual agenda push to think we are the same as if they would have the same parents and another typical "cool" black character with less than 5 min screen time.

Bearable
Great except for the woke crap. While the premise of an action hero stuck in an old dude's physique is cool and the action scenes are very well done, it gets a little annoying partway through. There is plenty of checkbox casting of black dudes in Russian gangster society and other woke-ass crap, and of course if there are any bosses on the American side they have to be black too. It's not the race stuff that's annoying so much as it's unrealistic and obviously shoehorned in there to make left-asshole-licking Amazon sponsor happy.
Other annoying elements include 20-year-old supergenius feminist spy hackers who of course "has friends in the Pentagon."
There's also another "poor illegal immigrants" storyline shoved in there. Although the action is happy to attack a group of random drunks just for getting on a bus, he inexplicably won't defend his family from getting beat up during a home invasion. He's perfectly fine to let his son get punched and kicked, why? because poor brown people are doing it. He finds them and takes back his stuff from their home, but since the criminals have a baby, he doesn't even give them a scolding. Very unsympathetic. But hey, illegal immigrants yay, right?
The director doesn't speak English that well, either, since there is a number of scenes which are not only inexplicably in English, but in bad English, and need to be fast-forwarded to get through.
But watch it during the action scenes, ignore the rest, and you might just be able to get through it.

Great overall action movie and from an unexpected actor at that!
Two of my favorite shows are Breaking Bad & Better Call Saul and never in a millions years would I except to see Saul Goodman kicking so much butt as he does in this movie. Very entertaining throughout and I didn't get a woke vibe much while watching it at all. I understand some might think that with his black brother and the black Russian not being realistic but his brother was most likely adopted so that didn't take anything from the great final action scene. I was grinning ear to eat the last few minutes watching how it all played out. ENJOY!

Decent movie
Very fun watch. Was pleasantly surprised watching this. Very John Wick-esque. Only problem is the casting…black Russians- really? No they really don’t exist. No such thing as them but still included it.
