Witness
A big city cop. A small country boy. They have nothing in common... but a murder.
A sheltered Amish child is the sole witness of a brutal murder in a restroom at a Philadelphia train station, and he must be protected. The assignment falls to a taciturn detective who goes undercover in a Pennsylvania Dutch community. On the farm, he slowly assimilates despite his urban grit, and forges a romantic bond with the child's beautiful mother.

Not a drop of woke
Harrison Ford at his most handsome, hiding out among the Amish. The romance in it doesn't even offend religious sensibilities. A touching and dramatic film altogether, with no racism, sexism, -isms of any kind. Woke free.

Pretty woke
This is a movie about a devout traditional community, and someone ignoring all the rules of that community and betraying the principles that she was raised with for the modern idea of "free love". Set that aside though, and it's a good movie, certainly not woke by TODAY's standards.
