Classic Noir - Good mystery story.
As with almost anything made before the 1970's, no woke. The story is good. It was before the days of plot twists being so predicted that they're no longer twists, but expectations. Sam Spade is a great character. I can see why Bogart is such a cherished part of old cinema. It has been in my watch list for months, but I recently watched it because it's leaving streaming soon. I'm glad I took the time.
