Not sure if woke or accidental anti-woke

I think they wanted to portray the pre-woke past in a bad way and so doing ridiculed the woke and oversensitive times we live in now. The highly intelligent inventor of the time-machine is obviously a black female teen again.
Giving it 60% woke, but still watchable and even funny.

Slight woke

More DIE casting than necessary, well beyond token characters. 3-4 black main characters, asian, hispanic, no demo spared from casting. Blink and you'll miss it gay couple. The comments on the microaggressions were hilarious. Rounding down to even out the scoring since it wasn't "super woke"

The 80's Were So 'Problematic"

Huge amount of DEI casting. Sherriff is a short overweight Asian female. Genius black teen female invents time travel. The only person who believes her is the genius black female teens genius mother. Basically this whole movie revolves around an extremely annoying gen z woke liberal screeching about how terrible and problematic the 80's were. Literally every woke bs topic imaginable is here. It's not funny, it's not scary, it's just bad.
