A newly commissioned video work that approaches past, present, and future visions of Chicago. Repurposing archival footage from the Chicago Film Archives extensive collection, dumas-o'neal then created a speculative, non-linear visual response to notions of belonging, intimacy, Black women’s cultural contributions through the everyday, and Lorraine Hansberry’s dynamic legacy as it relates to Chicago.
