Butchered so much of The Brass Verdict
Michael Connelly is probably the best living detective novelist. I actually enjoyed the method of including storyline from two or three of his novels in each season of Bosch although there was a smidgeon of political correctness added. When I heard that the first season of Legacy was going to include elements of The Brass Verdict, I couldn't wait to see it. It is, in my opinion, the best of Connelly's novels. It's the one where Bosch meets his half brother, Mickey (The Lincoln Lawyer), who, in this series, was replaced by a person of color. There was also some LGBT+ added. It was very disappointing for me.

Must be Bosch's evil twin
This is definitely not the same as the original series - despite all the reviews on Amazon praising and fawning over it. I immediately noticed a difference in the often lack of musical underscores, the existing characters from the original series behaving like bad clones of their former selves, the dialogue being quite flat, and the themes being overtly biased and politically ideological - like they're trying to preach to the audience or qualify for woke award shows by ticking the boxes of requirements. Many of the characters are not believable, scenarios cannot be accepted as possible, predictability and cliche stereotypes are common due to adherence to 'woke protocols'. Big disappointment since the original series was a binge-worthy entertainment pleasure.
