Corny, but non-woke.
The script could use a little polishing and then some, and it plays like a sitcom, but that's probably what the story was meant to be. There are a few scenes that make fun of woke indoctrination and the age gap between the tough analog world of Karate Kid and the pansy young generation which the wimpy students have grown up in, and the directors play it up for laughs.
No real woke, at least not in the first couple seasons I've seen so far. Let's hope they keep this series just entertaining and corny the way it is!

Not Woke
Cobra Kai is the embodiment of good story-telling and even pokes a bit of fun at the 'woke' television that is being force-fed to the world in droves. The acting is phenomenal, the directing is spot on and the story-telling is rich with actual diversity, challenges and delivers you with a story that showcases people overcoming those challenges as a person and as a team.
Great show, I hope to see many, many more seasons!
This television show does not have any forced ideological pandering nor any indoctrination.

It shows some Wokeness, but isn't woke.
This show focuses on respecting the audience, the movies that came before, and the main objective of being entertaining. Any wokeness in this film is openly mocked and shortly thereafter discarded. A great revival of a franchise with the heart and soul of what came before. Truly a breath of fresh air in this era of corrupted entertainment.

Fun
A good show, without blatant woke bs. A blend of 80s nostalgia and teen karate drama.

Anti-Woke👏👏
This is a true American show. Makes fun of modern woke elements in a hilarious way. This in my opinion is the best modern reboot of a franchise. Yes it’s corny, but that’s the point. Two thumbs up👍👍

Illustrates wokeness, but disparagingly
The best element this show has in the plus column is "nostalgia".
The writing is mostly forced and seems almost desperate, but there are some humorous lines and acting to save it. The only wokeness is displayed and then mocked or exposed as being shallow or virtue signaling. It's basically cheesy fun, take it lightly.

First season woke-free
First season is well made and refreshingly woke free, but the mind virus - no doubt attracted by the show's success - creeps in in the 2nd season. I stopped watching at that point.
