CIA propaganda
Debris is yet another science fiction show that shares similarities with Lost—a series where inexplicable events unfold. While I often enjoy such shows, the propaganda here irritated me.
Is it woke? It's only woke in the sense of being a (paid?) promotion for the CIA. The State is the religion of the woke, and the CIA promotes wokeness as a means of control. The woke are useful idiots to the CIA when it comes to things like throwing elections.
In "Debris", the good guys are two CIA agents and one MI6 agent. The bad guys sell to the Russians. In the first episode, the MI6 agent says to her CIA partner, "In the wrong hands, it could be the end of humanity," referring to alien tech. Just what hands are worse than the CIA's?
In reality, the CIA would not be trying to protect the population from spooky alien tech. Instead, the CIA would be throwing elections with spooky alien tech.
To get this ass-kissing show, how many people in Hollywood did the CIA blackmail? How many agents did they infiltrate into the studio? How much taxpayer money did they pay as bribes to studio execs?
The constant lauding of unethical people agitates me. Aside from that, the show is a bit "meh". It lasted only one season. I lasted only three episodes before dismissing it as propaganda.
