Nearly invisible woke
A unique story that combines gangsters and medicine all against the backdrop of India. Acting is great, casting is great, and even the script lacks the usual awkwardness of tired modern TV series.
The woke is seriously, almost not there. There are two female characters who break out the soliloquy rants about how oppressed women are by men (all while living opulent lives of crime by their own means), never mind that they are pin-heeling around in luxury all while the male characters in the story get beat up, kicked, live in grime and murdered. So, yeah.
But other than that, there is NONE of the usual identity-politic bullcrap.
No inappropriate diversity casting, no sex or transgenderism, no gay gay gay, no -isms or -rats.
