anti free speech anti free thought
main character conflates and frames right wing ideology as pro nazi hatred about 2/3rd of the way through episode 1. I watched no further. Maybe it does an about face later but i doubt it.

Feminist tropes, race swapping and generous handicap representation.
At least a few of the characters are awash in the modern feminist tropes of bumbling, clumsy men and powerful, one punch, savior type women. The show is damn good regardless, though, because of Gary Oldman. Guess which member of in the charming mixed race couple is killed off? Bye, bye whitey. Couldn't off his mate. She's the black, physically challenged one. In season two he is race swapped by a black male agent who's rather a simp in S03. By S03, the female agents of Slough House have morphed into alpha males with tits (yes, they are disgusting). Plus there is at least one other physically challenged character, I'm assuming in lieu of LGBTQ character injection which would serve no purpose in the story. They didn't artificially force trans-characters down our throats in this one at least.

British Wokeness with a Side Order of Gary Oldman
Usual British woke nonsense, "Working class white men all thick, violent, racists and are the biggest threat to society. Conservative politicians are also all racists, albeit of of the closet variety, supporting white supremacists. Diversity, however, is rather marvelous and wouldn't it be totally spiffing if all the top political positions were held by BAME lesbians (black, Asian, and minority ethnic). Will English people just hurry up and die out?". Plot holes that assume viewers are too stupid to see through the naff Oxbridge-scented weak sauce. Gary Oldman is it's only saving grace.

Gets into the woke atraight away
Main hero is an incompetent white male. They conflate trying to limit immigration with fascism half way through thebfirst episode.
Could have been interesting but it sh*t the bed straight out if the posts.

Completely Avoid
Every white male character is portrayed as either evil, burned out, a loser or incompetent.
Every female character is portrayed as competent, heroic, moral and strong.
Every non-white character is portrayed as competent, good and capable, or a victim of evil white men.
The show literally has white English nationalists kidnap and attack a Muslim boy. It’s the OPPOSITE of what is happening on our streets and our nation in England.
It portrays the white conservative male politician as some sort of new Hitler we should all hate because he dares say we shouldn’t have mass immigration.
It portrays white ex-servicemen as evil terrorists.
In the first episode it portrays British nationalism as fascistic and evil including cartoonish, over the top representations of white right wing politics.
Conclusion: avoid this anti-white, anti-male, anti-English show in every way.

Outstanding series completely abolished
Series 1 was the best series to come out of Apple TV, ever. Since then they’ve gone full feminist woke. Men are portrayed as bumbling idiots while they put in boss girls everywhere they can.
This show is now unwatchable due to the political ideology Apple is pushing.

First Episode Was Very Woke
I stopped after the first episode because it was clear that conservative politicians and their followers were portrayed as evil fascists. And the "kidnapping" was yet another liberal wet dream invented out of whole cloth. So sick of that.

A different take, apparently
I agree with the points that most reviews on here make. I just consider it to be more incidental than agenda.
I've read all of Mick Herron's Slow Horse series. I really like the books. This show follows them rather closely.
The main character, Jackson Lamb, played by Oldman, is actually pure genius. He's rude, offensive, and not hygienic at all, but he always figures things out before anyone else and manipulates the outcome.
The mixed-race couple is just that. I don't see an agenda in it. If you consider that woke, so be it. If the story portrayed them as having to endure intolerance over it, I would call it woke.
I don't remember any LGBT...+++ being represented, much less any agenda.
The girl boss is present. The main one is the "Second Desk" of MI5. She's a politically conniving backstabber who gets put in her place by Lamb on a regular basis. He always gets the upper hand, in both the novels and the show.
Casting: I looked up the first season on IMDB. The top 12 cast consists of 9 men and 3 women. There is one Asian, one Black an 10 white. I don't see any DEI in that.
The main characters consist of 3 white males portrayed as competent. The most incompetent, bumbling idiot in the show is the Asian. The black lady is portrayed as competent. I don't see any agenda in that.
The fist season is about some punks wanting to behead a Muslim on camera. I can see that as being woke agenda. Some of the following storylines have Islamic terrorists attacking. It's kind of across the board on that issue.
The wokeness may be there, but I don't think it comes with an agenda.
