Manicheism be damned !

I think this show, woke to a certain extent, is nonetheless worth a look. The direction is top-notch, the filming locations heavenly, the cast truly ideal.
Woke elements in a work are a problem when they predominate, when they obliterate the quality of a story or its purpose, but especially when they insinuate that everything is black or white, without the possibility of a contradictory discourse. That's what I liked about this show, for the first two seasons at least (let's wait for the next ones...). Woke elements at certain points in the story are counterbalanced by others later on. The scapegoats of some situations may find themselves the victims of others. Worth a try.
