In the 1850s, Captain Charles Boone relocates his family of three children to his ancestral home in the small, seemingly sleepy town of Preacher’s Corners, Maine after his wife dies at sea. Charles will soon have to confront the secrets of his family’s sordid history, and fight to end the darkness that has plagued the Boones for generations.

This is just another show shoving modern woke white men rasicst b.s. down your throat. White men at the mill are given
raises by the white foreman but the black one is not. Comment from 2 white men about about the leads native american children
'don't know what they are but it's not white". White male school headmaster telling the kids they need a birth certificate
or proof of residencty to go to school there. College educated highly intelligent female lead when that was very rare in
1850. Also american indian and white marriages where not common but were widely accepted at that point so it's just nonsense.
Asside from that Brody's acting is just aweful and he destroys every scene he's in which is almost all of them. It's very
slow moving and very little happens in the first or second episode and since it got cancelled and was going the obvious
woke route I saw no reason to continue.
