Dos épocas, dos lugares, la misma emoción

It tells two parallel stories: that of José Olaya (Ernesto Alterio), a young Asturian miner who is forced to emigrate to Argentina in 1934, using his brother Andrés’s identity and documents; and that of his son, Ernesto Olaya (Eduardo Blanco), a middle-aged Argentine architect who emigrates to Spain in 2001, also against his will, seeking a way out of the economic problems affecting his family.
