White Privilege

My wife and I are watching season 1 of "Fire Country" and up to episode 13 titled "You Know Your Dragon Best" there were not any woke references but in this episode a few of the main character are on the side of the environmental protesters against the evil white real estate developer, they also mention climate change. This wasn't really enough to make us think the show was woke but it was rather annoying! Last night however we watched episode 18 "Off the Rails" and this episode took things to whole new level when a black firefighter (Jordan Calloway) was accused of arson (and later cleared) the firefighter's mother (Karen LeBlanc) tells the white female fire chief (Diane Farr) that her son doesn't have the same Privilege that she and her white son (Max Thieriot) has and just the accusation is enough to ruin his life (unlike a white person) and the white fire chief (Diane Farr) apologizes to the black mother (Karen LeBlanc).
