James Gunn is Atlas to DC's entire world
I think any Gunn production would score highly on woke and overall ratings. Simply how the man is and I very much respect him for that
Creature Commandos is a all around great. Less explored parts of the Suicide Squad finally getting the treatment they deserve and each character is a wonder to follow. Any global politics conflict is neatly avoided by basing the conflict on a fictional country (Although one placed close to Russia)
Comedic timings are great, emotional bits hit hard. Fantastic 6 episodes
Wokepoints:
wlw/bisexuals, positivity portrayal of sex workers, nazi sympathism in the US (if it's woke to say it's a thing and that it's bad)
This series made me a fan of Gogol Bordello because of Dr Phosphorus
