Timely storyline written from a bubble of H'wood LeftWing-ism

The JackRyan series continues with a very relevant storyline to events occurring in today's world. The acting is pretty good overall, although I still have difficulty imagining/accepting Krasinski as an "action hero" and his physical performance in the show reveals why that is. Some actors are believable as the characters but others are obviously ridiculous - like Pena They manage to insert their stereotypes of the political right while making the Left so virtuous. In the later seasons, subtle jabs (like red states voting against Wright's confirmation) expose the bias, too.
Sure, it's watchable and bingeable. But Terminal List is far better. 😁👍

If not for season 2, this would be a great show.

Season 2 is a bad joke. The action takes place in Venezuela, which is astonishingly portrayed as a right wing authoritarian country! Their leader might as well have been wearing a Maga hat; the Venezuelan president is a caricature, a leftist caricature of the right. It’s absurd, not only because it reveals the simplicity and the threadbare logic of leftism by virtue of the asininity of their view of what the ‘right’ is, but especially because the president of Venezuela is in fact a far-left dictator!

Another good show infected by DEI ideology

I like the show but it hasn't escaped the Woke, DEI agenda any more than most shows. We've got a hispanic president of the US. And while the CIA is 71% white and 82% male, somehow there's and a black female CIA director, really? Finally we've got a female lead representing folks in the round demographic; Abbie Cornish. They've really managed to ensure the story is inclusive this season.
