Both sides

I'm not going to be the one to ruin your perfect "not woke" score here, but it's debatable whether it might deserve a 1/5 wokeness. Over on another woke rating site, 7 people rated it "woke" versus 10 who rated it "not woke". Certainly, there are some liberal themes in the show, but it shows both sides. Like real life, it's complicated.

The show's creator, Taylor Sheridan, says:

“They refer to it as ‘the conservative show’ or ‘the Republican show’ or ‘the red-state Game of Thrones,’  And I just sit back laughing. I’m like, ‘Really?’ The show’s talking about the displacement of Native Americans and the way Native American women were treated and about corporate greed and the gentrification of the West and land-grabbing. That’s a red-state show?”

Whatever it is, Yellowstone is wonderful.

Mild but intrusive

As someone allergic to girlbossing and shows that teach that it's virtuous for women to be rude entitled twats, I wasn't able to get through more than a few episodes. It may not be a dealbreaker to those who are desensitised to this trope.
