Main hero : Left first wife with a kid because couldn't hold 2 months without intercourse (she just had her kid).
Hero's stepson : Socially inept autist who learns trivia by heart.
Hero's dad : Insensitive alcoholic who "didn't know how to raise kids" because soviet something, gets berserk when drunk.
Hero's friend : Sex obssessed "nouveau riche" or just rich bastard.
Wife with kid's love interest : Nerdy doctor who can't handle himself in a fight, can't even talk properly, scared of putting contact lenses until woman forces him to.

Subtle allusions
There's some subtle allusions to incest and period-sex, that are not condoned.
Save yourself the trouble and watch the very good Donnie Darko instead, which it ripped off majorly.

The Woke Prince
All strong female characters but males are either hesitant, evil or stupid.
Season 2 contains lesbian kissing, and an advice in a important letter from a dead character to his son, that he will face "the lie of history", that history pushes a narrative of strength and power, while it should push a narrative of love instead. That one should learn from history, then throw it away too.
