Great overall action movie and from an unexpected actor at that!
Two of my favorite shows are Breaking Bad & Better Call Saul and never in a millions years would I except to see Saul Goodman kicking so much butt as he does in this movie. Very entertaining throughout and I didn't get a woke vibe much while watching it at all. I understand some might think that with his black brother and the black Russian not being realistic but his brother was most likely adopted so that didn't take anything from the great final action scene. I was grinning ear to eat the last few minutes watching how it all played out. ENJOY!

Some woke but awesome show so far!
First 2 episodes were GREAT, then 15 mins into the 3rd it flashes back to 2003 and I already knew what was coming so we skipped ahead until Joel & Ellie popped back up in present time and boom we really didn't miss anything. The letter Ellie reads at the table once they are in the house was ALL the backstory we needed. So it was only about a 30 minute episode but I'm glad we continued on because episode 4 & 5 are just incredible with none of that garage from episode 3 anywhere, so hopefully they got it out of their systems. Guess we'll see!
Update: I think we are done after episode 7, whole other unnecessary backstory of Ellie falling in love with her female roommate. Just so pointless and I guess after this and episode 3 we know this is only Hollywood forcing their agenda in our faces and not really caring about a good story.

Great show, just made for Stallone!
It's a root for the bad guy kind of show but it was made for Stallone! He's on top of his game in this one and just fun to watch. It's a men being MEN type of show with some strong female characters (not in a woke way) but it's great to see Sly still at it and I look forward to each new episode.

This is why we go to the movies, to be ENTERTAINED and nothing else.
This movie brings back the excitement of the 80's & 90's action movies I grew up with. You have the good guys and bad guys and some innocent hostages who need to be rescued. You root for the good guys and are entertained for 2 hours instead of being force fed an agenda. There is some language and violence which you would except but a great action/adventure/survival movie I'd recommend for sure and NO WOKE anywhere in this one.

Simple survival movie about loss, best friends and just enjoying the adventure of life while you still can. (No Woke here)
I used to rock climb in my younger days so this movie intrigued me. Starts off with an amazingly shot rock climb scene and something happens which causes these two best friends to fall apart. One year later they decide to climb this old abandon radio tower to help cope with the events of a year ago. It really finds a way to put you in the climbers seat and almost made me dizzy in a couple shots. Well acted and just a good overall story of survival in a horrible situation. NO WOKE in this one so enjoy!

Interesting movie, worth a watch with no Wokeness to worry about.
A girl at the end of her rope working a low paying food vendor job while trying to pay off student debt gets caught up with a fake credit card scheming team. No wokeness in this one, just a good character study and a what if this opportunity presented itself to someone in this situation... what would they do?

Favorite movie of all time!
This movie holds a special place for me since it was the first R rated movie I saw in the theaters a few months after I turned 17. This is how war/action/historical/drama's should be made. I still hold this as one my favorite all time movies along with Gladiator & Last of the Mohicans to round out my top 3. No WOKE nonsense in this or any of those movies, the way it should be.

So surprised at how GOOD this was!
Never in my life would think of watching anything remotely like this but I gave it chance after watching a review on YouTube and man oh MAN am I glad I did! It was so over the top but in a GOOD way and the action was incredible and unlike anything I've experienced before! Characters are great to watch and root for against the bad guys, the violence might be a little much for younger viewers but it's not terrible. I can't recommend this movie enough, don't even watch the trailer just go in with an open mind and enjoy pure fun entertainment without any ounce of a WOKE agenda in it.

Early Steven Spielberg before he went woke.
After growing up in the 80's watching ET, Close Encounters & Indiana Jones it was fun to find this 1971 hidden gem from Spielberg. You get to see some of the same filming techniques that he would later use in Jurassic Park with the Jeep running from the T-Rex. It's a low budget TV movie of course but he found a way to keep you interested and rooting for the good guy in the little car to get away from the crazy guy in the big truck.
No WOKE at all, since that wasn't a thing back in 1971.
