very good movie, wouldn't say is woke but the mc is a female robot that becomes a strong mother type of stuff

Wouldn't consider really woke because it makes sense with the story, even tough it checks some elements that you could consider woke.

strong single mother, villain is a "normal" white guy, female porkpine has purple hair, need i say more?

the ending message is good but the movie is infested with wokeness.

Great Movie For Kids

overall a great movie for kids the story is simple and fun and can teach kids about forgiveness, family and the importance of fatherhood.

Didn't notice anything woke well if you push you can connect the "you gotta love yourself the way you are" with a character in the movie and there's also the fact that the security guard was a woman but like i said that would be pushing because they make sense in the movie and it doesn't fell pushed into the plot just to meet quotas.

yes i kinda became sensitive for this type of stuff those *** pushed so much woke stuff into my entertainment that they trained-me into a professional for noticing wokesness even when it isn't intentional.

genuine good comedy with wokeness

it has wokeness but the movie is a genuine comedy not shit like shehulk stuff.

based on the trailer the whole premisse appears to be woke

music in the trailer ends with "don't talk to strangers that you may fall in love" meaning this movie is probably another one that follows the message and try to make people fear to relate to others aka destroy the nuclear family.

the story appears to be a strong business woman falls in love with a guy that appears to end up beating her(maybe because hes controlling or something)

Im incapable of rating the quality of the movie but because the premise appears to be something out of "me too" i rated this movie as woke

Not woke, story is good enough but the camerawork, soundtrack and the special effects are kinda bad.

construction worker is depicted as a weak beta man who constant forgives and follows childhood love even after she abadons him for 20+ years

childhood love abandons guy that becomes a construction worker, for 20+ years because of parents disputes forgets about him join a secret organization marrys/divorce another guy then when everything goes to shit she comes-back after him for him to fix her shit show and save the organization.
the guy acts like a simp and constant forgive her / is saved by her, she of course is a short hair strong black woman that never loses and when she does is not her fault.
he also lose in combat to a enemy woman even being a construction worker and is also made fun of by one member of the organization that is a black man that instant started beating him up as "training" when he show on the organization the mc is of course white.

Started good but ended up falling off

after episode 5 it becomes a mexican soap opera.

the show should have 5 or 6 episodes in my opinion, deus ex machina incidents where used to make the protagonist weaker (making him equivalent of a simp just like the villain was since the beginning) the villain stronger and the main heroine nonsensical, feels like stuff was added just to prolong the show and give the heroine control of the situation, feels kinda forced netflix is probably the responsible.

another promising show that netflix ruined.

MAN looks and acts like MAN, WOMAN looks and acts like WOMAN, ABE is cool as fk.(10/10 would watch again)

the only thing that i would change is not make abe political in the last portion, in a true alternative reality he should be focused in his job and in perfecting his craft(hunting vampires).
but at least the movie makes the political insertion makes sense.
