It's a pretty standard zombie flick of the sprinting zombies variety. It is well done, with no cringe moments. Nothing woke.
The zombie plague is caused by a rabies-like disease, so no raising the dead (I think). That makes it more realistic. Unfortunately, it takes only about 10 minutes to go from bitten to zombie, which just doesn't seem medically possible, barring something like nanites.

Standard Zombie Film With Incompetent Main Character
Nothing really woke. The acting and FX are pretty good. The story is very cliche and nothing new but it is all done very well and there is
good bit of action. As zombie apocalypse films go it's decent and worth a watch. The biggest problem is the main character. He is another one
of these too stupid too live types that should of died many times over. He makes every bad decision and keeps doing stupid things yet somehow manages to survive by sheer dumb luck or someone else saving him. He never learns anything or adapts to the horrors around him. Then for the finale just suddenly turns into Rambo. It's still worth a watch if you like zombie or apocalypses type movies.
