Another terrible Jurassic world movie if you can even really call it Jurassic world at this point. Where's the dinosaurs? These are some kind of mutant alien looking things. Outside of a couple of the leads most of the acting is pretty terrible and the VFX are all over the place. Some scenes look very well done then others look half finished or rushed really low quality stuff. The story is just garbage and makes no real sense. The evil rich white man they want you to hate is only 'evil' because he's
a capitalist who works for big pharma and is spending millions to develop a new drug. Then there is the Spanish family, the most
pointless annoying DEI insert in recent memory. They serve no purpose whatsoever to the plot or anything in the movie. Their acting is abysmal, they are so insufferable stupid and annoying, I was pleading with my TV for them to be eaten, but I knew it would never happen. There are only really 3 white males in the group and the only portrayed as good is the beta, liberal who wants to steal the samples from the Pharma company who literally is paying for the entire trip and services and then release them into the world for opensource medical development in some implausible socialist utopia. Two of the 3 white males don't want to rescue the Spanish family. 3 of the only 4 deaths in the movie are white people. 2 of them are 'bad' white men, one of them is a completely random death of a white female with hardly any screen time anyway and 1 black male who dies nobly saving others. Johansson's character as the
lead mercenary wasn't as bad as I expected and thought she is a bit miscast she never went full girlboss or overpowered feminist. Then
there is the writing, my god doesn't anyone read these scripts first. Your trapped on an island with creatures everywhere that can kill you and you go crashing around screaming your lungs out every second of the movie. There is no attempt at hiding or stealth and they make every effort to get themselves killed. This brings me to the creatures. They aren't even that threatening. They all move so slowly and just ignore people right in front of them or just stand there for long periods of time looking at them doing nothing. Then they just give up right away and walk away. This is most apparent in the single T-Rex scene that is laughable bad. There is a giant T-Rex somehow laying down hidden in what appears to be 5' of grass and nobody sees it. Then it just ignores or watches the Spanish family that it should of been able to kill many times over in this scene before ever so slowly going after them. It snatches up a blowup
raft and chews on it for a solid 20-30 seconds just to drop it without a single hole punched in it. Then loses sight of the family behind some rocks and just gives up and walks away. A similar scene takes place in a huge wide open valley where there is nothing but grass about 5' tall. Then suddenly dozens of massive towering creatures just stand up out of the grass like they were invisible. The Spanish father severely hurts his leg and says he can't walk then swims to shore with no problems and is walking around then 2 minutes later can't walk again without leaning on a stick. They all jump out of the boat into the water with creatures everywhere when the boat is speeding toward land and about to beach itself 10 seconds later. Why would you do that!!?? There's more but you get the idea. If you liked the last one then maybe you will like this as well otherwise stay away.

The movie itself is just not very good, it's clearly low budget and while the FX look ok there is surprisingly little actual zombie action in the movie. They are never really scary or threatening there just another obstacle to overcome. The acting is ok and though it's supposed to be a comedy horror the comedy just isn't funny and jokes are just dumb. There is some bad filmmaking and writing as well like horrible green screen inside vehicles, Zombies that seem to hide behind trees and appear in a large group out of nowhere. A nurse yells at a soldier for smoking and says it's bad for your health even though this is unrealistic for the 1930's. Smoking wasn't recognized as bad for you until the 50's and widespread recognition in the 60's. There is a lot of weird scenes of character posturing and pointing guns at each other threatening to shoot but nobody ever does anything. At the beginning there is inconsistences with how the Spanish character interact with the Nazis. Sometimes seeming to be frightened of them and then minutes later the same characters are openly defying them or laughing in their faces. As for woke it does check some of those boxes. There is a openly accepted Muslim character which is not accurate for the time and Muslims were virtually nonexistent in Spain at the time, so DEI. Then there is the tiny, scrawny angry, aggressive modern feminist type. Though it is tones down a bit and at least she's not full superhuman overpowered. There is also the 'good' communist who has to remind you literally every couple of sentences that he's fighting the 'bad' fascists. The amount of times he says this is so unnatural and distracting it really seems like a weird attempt at subliminal messaging. I saw reviews on other sites saying there is gay representation in the movie but I didn't see any. I was losing interest and paying less attention by the 1 hour mark so it's possible
I missed something. All in all I would pass on this one.

Another generic standard 80's slasher. The highlight is the above average kills and gore FX. Story wise it's the typical high school reunion with wronged student taking revenge on his bullies. The acting is pretty bad but the worst part is I actually thought it was supposed to be a comedy horror. The acting seems to be intentionally comic and the music score is slapstick three stooges variety. It is not in fact labeled as comedy that I could find, it's just bad. Maybe worth a one time watch for the decent gore FX and kills but that's about it. Nothing woke.

1984 slasher horror movie with nothing woke. It's nothing original story wise, the usual group of kids staying in a house inhabited by a crazed killer. The one thing holding this back from being a little above average is the absolutely terrible acting. There are some inventive kills and a ton of blood and gore but the acting is just so bad it's really hard to sit through it.

30 minutes was enough for me. Mediocre to bad acting and very little story. In those 30 minutes virtually nothing happened. In a movie that's only 93 minutes long that's is some very slow pacing. Everything screams low budget amateur hour, from sets, to the camera angles. The director even gave himself a part in the movie if that tells you anything. The psychic's acting in particular is bad. She's an annoying smug irritating person. As for woke, this is small town America with too much DEI overrepresentation. The sheriff is a white male who seems to be a lazy alcoholic, his desk officer is an obese black female, and he hires another officer who is a black male. All the white male's I saw in the first 30 minutes are bad. The aforementioned alcoholic sheriff, the white trash loser and the white male pedophile woman beater. I think we can see where this was going. Best to pass on this one.

Another average slasher from the 80's. Pretty generic and nothing really new. The acting and writing is average, the kills are basic with little blood and gore. It will pass the time as background noise but that's about it. Nothing woke.

While I did watch the first one I really don't remember it too much. On one hand the animation is pretty good and the voice acting is well done. The humor gets a little too goofy and corny some times but there are some actual good laughs and there's no denying it's just a decent somewhat fun movie. However there's not getting around how incredibly woke it is. There is an insane amount of minority overrepresentation in all the background human characters. White
is a huge minority in this movie. While I didn't see any rainbow mafia anywhere there is a huge feminist push here as well. The original group is back with male wolf who is mostly a bumbling fool, male shark who panics at everything and gets overemotional, male piranha who is always angry and raging out, male snake who finds a girlfriend that betrays him and his friends and he spends the rest of the movie simping after her and telling her how amazing she is at everything and female tarantula who is amazing and has no faults. There is also the female foxy who is the governor and an amazing fighter and literally kicks wolfs ass. We
have the giant steroided out female angry police commissioner. Then there's the new group of thieves who are all amazing. The female bird who tricks snake into capturing his friends, giant steroided out female wild boar and steroided out bulging female kitty. It's so distracting and over the top with the agenda even if it doesn't actually push it in the story. If you can get past all the woke nonsense there is a slightly above average movie here.

I struggled to finish the first episode of this train wreck. Marketed as a comedy/crime/mystery. There is no crime/mystery here. It's all comedy and none of is is funny. This is network tv stupid silly sitcom levels of humor. There is not one likable character in the bunch. The lead female detective is the most annoying irritating one of them all. The story is so bare bones it could barely fill out a movie much less an episodic ongoing series. I never laughed once in the entire 1st episode. This might of worked if the lead detective wasn't so horribly miscast and the comedy toned down to a less corny silly subtle humor. Is it woke, of course. Every DEI box gets checked. Black, Asian, Indian and a couple characters I'm pretty sure will turn out to be gay if I wanted to suffer a couple more episodes to confirm. The black male character is obsessed with the mixed Asian/white female. The lead detective is a black female who is naturally brilliant and her incompetent idiot white male partner. She is acts and talks straight out of the ghetto and couldn't be more unprofessional. If you look at the cast list it is dominated by even more DEI characters than I saw in the first episode so I'm sure it gets worse as it continues.

Slightly above average 80's slasher. Nothing woke. Basic killer returns years later to take revenge on a group of people that wronged him story. Masked killer than stalks and kills a group of friends throwing a party on a moving train. The acting is average, the kills are ok if a little bland. Lite on the blood and gore. It'll pass the time but that's about it.

Generic rather boring slasher from 1981 starring Linda Blair. A college hazes new pledges my making them stay in an old house where a father
killed his family but they never found 2 of the bodies. The 2 surviving family members have been living hidden in the house ever since
and kill everyone. The acting is what you would expect from something like this and while it's rated R I would say it's actually fairly tame by todays standards. Minimal blood and all the kills are kind of bland. The story doesn't make much sense either as this school does this hazing every year yet nothing ever happens until this year, even though the 2 have been hiding there the entire time. Nothing woke.
