An ok is uneeded update/remake of bewitched. The acting is ok and Ferrel is his usual self but a bit miscast in the role. A different actor
could of elevated this up a notch. There are some decent jokes but it's not really laugh out loud at any point and all a bit too silly in my
opinion. I don't know if I would really say it's woke. I guess Ferrell's character could be seen as the beta emasculated male depending on how you look at it. He's more of a loser self centered douche who's manipulated by witchcraft. Both female and male characters are shown to be wrong in how they treat each other and what they think they want though. I think this is kind of in how the viewer would perceive it. I will give it a mild woke just because it's kind of in how you see it.

It says it's based on a true story but I didn't care enough to check on accuracy tot he facts. The acting is average and passable I guess. It's another movie with annoying stupid characters doing dumb things and nobody is likable. Set in 1967 it never really feels like it. They just through some sort of period clothes and and hair in and call it a day. The attitudes and speech are all off. A positive is they used an actual real bear instead of CG. This means it looks great. Unfortunately it also means you will never see the bear and actors in the same scenes so all the 'attacks' are badly shot close ups of bears pawing and biting sleeping bags and cuts to people getting slowly drug away by a person just off screen. No tension or realism to any of the scenes. It's all pretty slow and gets very boring very quickly. I stopped paying attention around the 50 minutes mark somewhere but I'm not
really sure why this is rated R. There are no on screen attacks, the small amount of blood and a few post attack quick shots of wounds are nothing you wont see on tv anymore and i don't even remember there being any language. It's all very sanitized PG content. As for woke there are 2 token black characters that seem unlikely in 1960's Montana mountains. The female ranger seems to be far more competent than her dumb lazy male counterparts and naturally has to deal with sexism. The female characters in general are smarter and able to keep it together more than the overly emotional dumber men.

A rom-com for the woke brain rot crowd. Story wise it's a cliché with nothing original though the acting isn't really that bad surprisingly. However the humor just isn't there. It's all eye rolling and not funny in the least. Then there is the woke garbage. The usual mixed race couple where the wife yells at the husband to stop mansplaining then smile smugly and says 'he does whatever I say'. The biggest issue however is the lead male is an annoying pathetic hipster beta douche loser who eats healthy knows nothing about sports hates confrontations and loves to exercise while the lead female is the aggressive alpha type who eats
greasy garbage hates exercise is confrontational and loves football depicting the woke gender role reversal. At one point she talks down to him and basically tells him he's an idiot and naïve to his face. She screws up and tips a guy with a $5k voucher because she thinks it's a $50 dollar one then later when she finds out she yells at him like it's his fault and says he's a thief. This is another of those movies with not one single likable character to be found anywhere. I hated everybody in this and after about 30 minutes I was done with this garbage.

The only real woke would be some DEI token characters and the ridiculous scene at the beginning of the 9 months pregnant wife
throwing around and beating up large trained male police officers. It's only one scene but still dumb. Unfortunately the movie just
isn't that great. The story is very cliché, it's the basic good guy has evidence on someone so he's in hiding from a group of people
while trying to blend in. Except here he's doing a terrible job. I mean your apt has been broken into twice in 2 weeks and they try
to kill you so obviously know where you are. He make no attempt to leave, secure the apt, take any kind of precautions or even tell
his wife what is happening. He just goes about his day waiting for them to come back. The acting isn't bad but the action scenes range
from decent to comedic with some bad writing. There is a rooftop chase that is very slow boring and uneventful. There is a scene in the
middle of nowhere with the hero and villain shooting at each other when 2 random kids on dirt bikes come out of the woods. The villain stops
and uses the last of his ammo to fire at them for no apparent reason other than poor writing to segway into a dirt bike chase. Said chase is
also rather boring and leads into an embarrassingly comedic paragliding sequence. Even the conspiracy at the center of the entire plot is a
massive stretch in credibility. It's really more of a 2.5 but I upgraded to 3 because it is somewhat watchable if there's nothing else or you need background noise.

I don't understand how this nonsense was so popular and getting low woke scores on here. This reeks of feminism and DEI. Almost all
of the 'good' camp is female including the wise oracle like black woman. There are tons of small overpowered female warriors taking on
much larger men in hand to hand combat. There the magical black man who shows up in episode 2 who has sight. The white female gives birth
to his black twins who both have sight. The majority of the 'bad' camp seems to be male and as far as I can remember all white. Although they
are led by a shaved headed anorexic girlboss who would never be able to realistically maintain power. While I didn't see any rainbow mafia I would fully expect that to show up at some point as well. This is all in the first 2 episodes that is all I could take of this ridiculous garbage. The acting is terrible, the fight choreography is laughable and the story is barebones and cliché. The absolute worst part is the horrible implementation of the blind gimmick. You have a society that's been blind for centuries at this point so everything should be very utilitarian and basic yet we have decorations and ornate designs everywhere from clothes to tools to weapons. There is feathers in peoples hair and the one old lady has a full headdress with jewelry on. I think I remember a few facial tattoos as well but I could be wrong. They go into battle and spread mud all over their faces. WTF for? There are large battle with people everywhere yet nobody ever attacks or hits their own group. They run straight at each other and attack like they can see the other person clearly. Fights are perfectly choregraphed with perfectly defended attacks followed by perfectly on target strikes and nobody missing the mark. The actors look right each other sometimes while talking or face each other straight on, respond to visual ques they shouldn't and look around at their surroundings. It's all so horribly done I can't believe this went on for 3 seasons.

It's been so long since I've seen this I forgot a lot of it. It's a classic and is still watchable with some good tension and unsettling scenes. The camera work is incredible and worth watching for that alone. The biggest issue is it depends largely on if it's your first watch or not. There have been so many copycats since it was made that a lot of the scenes seem cliché now and you can see what's coming a mile away. The other big issue is the 'hero' is so unlikable and such a pathetic whiney idiot who constantly does the dumbest things. The ending also is a bit of a letdown. There is nothing woke and it is never boring but if it's a first time watch it may not seem as good as it was when it first came out.

Pretty much every woke trope you can think of. Way over the top with the DEI overrepresentation. White is most definitely a minority here.
A large amount of women in leadership and positions of power. Actually there was an exceptionally high female casting in general in this for
the type of movie this is intending to portray. Multiple mixed race couples. Beta househusband. Of course the president is black. The only thing I didn't see was any alphabet mafia but honestly by the one hour mark I was bored out of my mind and paying little attention so it's possible I missed it. This is one of the most boring movies I've watched recently. This is not a thriller or at least not a well done one. The idea is actually pretty good but the execution is terrible. The entire movie is basically close ups of people talking and looking at computer screens and readouts. Nothing about this is realistic in any way. There is so much melodrama and overacting is almost comical. Then there's the fact that you are really only watching the same 30 minute movie 3 times on repeat just from 3 different perspectives. There is virtually nothing new presented in the 2nd and 3rd retread and it's boring and pointless. Then on top of all that there is no ending. It's a lazy copout use your imagination ending.

Low budget very bland boring 70's brit horror. An anthology movie wrapped by a story about a psychiatrist interviewing patients at an
asylum. Average to bad acting, no scares and in some cases scenes meant to be 'horror' are just silly and comedic. It's all very tame and bland PG horror. Nothing woke but not really worth watching either.

A slightly above average slasher from 1989. The story is standard, the acting is pretty bad and it's fairly obvious who the killer is. The standout is the very well done for it's time gore FX and inventive kills. It should be noted I watched the uncut version. There are several different versions of the this with some being very heavily edited and containing almost none of the gory scenes. Nothing woke and watchable if your a horror or slasher fan.

This is typical of modern late to the party sequels thought it's probably a little better than most. It manages to maintain the feel and atmosphere of the originals for the most part. All the usual tropes, cliché story, all the legacy characters show up for limited screen time looking old and just sad. Your enjoyment of this movie will probably heavily depend on your nostalgia of the originals, if you've never seen them then this will probably not be very good either. The director does a good job of capturing the feel of the franchise but it's painfully obvious he's in way over his head. It's another instance of an unproven nobody being handed a job he's unqualified for. This guy's sole directing credits are a handful of less shorts less than 5 minutes long then gets to direct a 150 million dollar action franchise movie? How does this happen?
Then there is the usual woke problems as well. Axel has a scene at the beginning that appears to make fun of the woke white liberal racists then 10 minutes later plays the police victimize blacks card. There are 2 ridiculous DEI female officers that are clearly there for a reason. There are multiple modern woke comments and mentalities scattered throughout. Axel's daughter hijacks a good portion of the movie and the constant whining about her dysfunctional family gets old fast and serves to just pad out film time. Her acting is not very good, she's not likable and she gets more annoying as the movie goes on. She is a defense attorney that takes on a case for an innocent Spanish male that she just believes immediately for no real reason and with zero evidence at that point. She is involved with a white male so we can check the mixed race box. There are multiple characters that appear to be gay or at least beta's based on speech and mannerisms. There is a very flamboyant obviously gay Spanish drug dealer in a weird gay bar with half naked
men walking around. At no point is any of this stuff the focus of the movie or is it preached about but it is present and it is there for a reason. This may be worth a watch depending on your tolerance for woke.
