Didn't expect much from this as most of these public domain IP horror movies are pretty poor. This is one of the slight exceptions. It feels like those slasher's from the 90's and early 2000's. Not really scary but just fun goofy splatter films. The acting mostly ok with a couple of very bad ones. The story is an afterthought and barely there. The blood and gore is plentiful and there are a ton of kills. The only real woke is maybe some lite DEI casting but that's about it, could be considered woke free maybe. Worth checking out if you like the aforementioned type of horror films.

I didn't see anything woke in this one. Knowledge of the games is pretty much a requirement this time. There's so many characters, Easter eggs
and little moments that will mean nothing if you don't know the games. It was a decent watchable movie but a step down from the first one in my opinion. The acting is alright but the writing is a good bit of characters doing stupid illogical things that make not sense. It also falls into the typical weakness of any PG-13 horror movie, relying almost entirely on cheap easy jump scares, there is almost no blood and all deaths are offscreen with only sound FX heard and nothing really seen. That's not to say there aren't some creepy scary moments but it's pretty tame overall. It's ok but the first one is better.

Typical road trip buddy comedy but without the comedy. Both the main male characters are rather unlikable and annoying. It's not too woke other
than maybe some DEI. After 40 minutes and not a single laugh I didn't care to continue. Another one that's not so much a bad movie as it's just not for me.

This movie has been done many times before and much better. It's the typical kidnapped child then force the parent to do some task while
they stay on the line and track them. It's all very predictable and cliché and Gadot's acting is pretty poor here. The writing is terrible with lots of stupid illogical mistakes. The hacker has an open line and can hear everything but somehow can't hear people screaming at her that she stole their phone. He's tracker her on a gps map but can't tell she's on a train instead of running. As for woke, there is a lot of DEI casting in background characters. The lead is said to be an immigrant.
The entire premise of the movie is very feminist with the usual men are violent and bad b.s. Her mother killed her father because he was violent and abusive. She becomes a lawyer to go after violent men and her client is snitching on a murderer/rapist. She accuses the voice on the phone of being a woman hater. Pass on this, there's much better with this same idea out there.

The first attempt at a complete CG Godzilla movie from Japan. I really wanted to like this one but there are some problems with it. While the acting is mostly good some of the dialogue is terrible though this may be a translation issue. The English speaking actors however are awful. I would say about 75 percent of the movie is just arguing and political red tape in an office setting with only 25 percent on Godzilla and it's surroundings. This would be fine if the dialogue was interesting, unfortunately it's not and at 2hrs long and gets very boring quickly. The use of CG for the most part looks great and the creature design
is pretty good and the scenes of destruction with Godzilla's rampage are a highlight. For some reason they decided to make it still look like an actor in a rubber suit. This results in very slow stiff unnatural movements for most of the movie and really hurts the look of it. I didn't see anything woke and overall not a terrible Godzilla movie.

This special highlights how good this show could of been with good guest stars. The improve is great and it's pretty hilarious. Not sure why Pete shows up at the
very end when it's too late, but Maya and Jason are comedy gold here and everyone is clearly having a blast with it. Too bad this was cancelled before it found it's footing. It has some minor DEI casting I guess though like the show it's just a silly improv sketch comedy and not to be taken serious.

A sketch comedy where there's a loose script to follow and every episode has a celebrity guest playing themselves with no script and just improving everything. They try to solve the case and figure out the murderer by the end. As expected the episodes vary greatly depending on the guest star. At only 6 episodes most of them are decent with a couple that were really good. Some of the guests really make no sense for improve and better choices could of made this much better. There's some promise here and it's not the worst use of time but canceled after only 6 episodes. I don't know if it's really woke or not as it's all just silly light sketch comedy and nothing is to be taken seriously. The wife of Arnett's character is a 5 foot black female police chief. Her only purpose is to introduce the guest at the beginning and close out the episode at the end so only in about 5 minutes of each episode.

This one is a little tough to review. It's incredibly woke, but at the same time the humor works and is at times very funny. Pretty much all the woke tropes are present. There's a good bit of DEI casting, lots of gay characters, pretty much every single couple (and there are a lot)
are mixed race. Most of the main characters are female and the head of the company is female. That being said every character is flawed in some way and nobody is perfect. The female boss is anything but a girlboss. She has daddy issues and makes lots of mistakes and is openly noted by other characters for her unlikability. Everybody has character arcs and changes they go through. There are some individual episodes that get preachy and pushy with the agenda or political leanings and they are annoying and eye rolling, but they are not the majority or the main focus of the show and those episodes are easily skipped past if desired. It's really too bad as if the woke was left out all the elements are there for this to be a very good show. It's still watchable but highly dependent on your tolerance for woke aspects in your entertainment.

The other review is pretty much spot on. Other than a couple of funny moments none of the jokes land and just seem tired worn out and unfunny. It's basically just a whole bunch of short pop culture parody skits edited together into a movie. Some of the jokes go on far longer than they should. Pretty much all the humor can be put into 1 of three categories, gay jokes, racist jokes, political jokes. I do think at the beginning they seem to be poking fun at the woke nonsense but the longer it goes it just feels like a woke movie. Every single thing is here, feminism, gay character, racism always pointing to white people, black victims. All the political jokes are all very one sided or social justice type stuff. Then there is the trans character played by a trans actor, you can tell within 2 seconds of screen time. I don't' know what they were going for but it just ends up feeling like another woke movie to me. The only reason I'm not giving it a higher woke score is I can't really tell if it's intentional or just badly done humor. Either way the movie is terrible and this franchise should of been left alone.

This shouldn't be call The Mummy, other than mummification used as a plot device it has nothing to do with a mummy. It's a standard possession movie mixed with the modern Evil Dead remakes, you know the bad ones. The acting is pretty bad all around. There's a few legitimate scares and disturbing scenes early on but then it just devolves into an over the top gore-fest. While the FX do look good the graphic gore is overdone that it starts to become silly and comical rather than disturbing or even shocking. Then there's the writing. There is no chance a missing person found in the state she is in would be sent home with no care other than the family. Then with everything that happens at home the family makes no attempts at all to get her any sort of care or help. These could be overlooked if the movie was decent otherwise, sadly it's not. While it's not overly woke it is present in the form of feminism. Far more female characters than male and other than the father what's there are secondary or background characters.
The female Egyptian detective seems unlikely, especially as she seems to be new on the job and an abducted American child in Egypt would be a big deal though the movie just ignores all that. If your a big horror fan and like splatter films it might be worth a watch, I thought it was a 2.5 really but not worth rounding up to 3.
