Idiots

Not really a comedy as it claims to be. There's some mildly amusing moments but just not really funny. The writing and acting are ok but that's about it. Out of nowhere at the half way point it seems to drop any attempts at humor and go dark thriller almost horror. It's a very jarring
transition. The biggest issue is the kid these two are transporting is typical of those p.o.s. social media prankster douche bags. He's such
an asshole vile character that you really just want to see him get destroyed and everything he does is annoying and irritating, not funny. The weak attempt to redeem his character at the end doesn't work, you want to see him get what he deserves, not some lame redemption arc.
It's not really woke other than some DEI and maybe a little lite feminism.
A more likable character as the kid would of made this a better watch, as it is unless you think those aforementioned social media losers are actually funny avoid it.
