Not too bad, decent story

I couldn't detect any elements of wokeness in this movie. It is a heartwarming tale about a brother and sister whose parents are going through a potential separation. They have to learn to get along with one another and ultimately the family comes back together. There's a bit of a twist ending, which my daughter seemed to like. I would trust this to be seen by kids. There are some scarier scenes for the really little ones since it does deal with dreams and nightmares.

Compared to a much larger budget kids film, the writing is, I would say, okay, but not on par with some of the major films out there from Pixar, etc.

maybe the fat that the father is the one at home while the mother is the breadwinner(but thats not something that is pushed on your face)

A surprisingly solid animated Netflix movie. The acting is good the story is solid. The voice acting is well done. The humor is pretty good and works most of the time. There is a mix of silly childish humor and definitely some more adult jokes and innuendo that would probably go over most younger kids heads. It also may get a little dark for younger kids but it's not too bad. It kind of feels more like a 80's-90's animated movie than a modern one, just CG instead of hand drawn. I didn't see anything woke, there's no forced DEI and no rainbow mafia. All the characters both male and female have strengths and weaknesses. While the wife seems to be the only one working while the father is unemployed, he doesn't just sit around the house he's a musician and is shown working on his music. He seems to be a good father so he's not useless or dumb and is shown later to be rather strong and capable. I also saw complaints about the daughter being more put together and competent than the brother. She's said to be 12 and while I don't remember his age being stated he seems to be considerably younger. He just acts like a little kid, not dumb. He is shown in several scenes to be smart and in a couple of instance figures things out and saves his sister. Personally I didn't find it woke, I think sometimes if you look hard enough you will see woke when it's not really there.
