One More Shot

Some DEI casting resulting in 2 mixed race couples. There is also a lesbian couple. This is labeled as a comedy but I don't see it. It's more of a drama with weak attempts at comedy. The humor isn't funny and the timing seems all off. The acting is ok but the characters are all annoying and unlikable. This just another rehashed groundhog day type movie but supposedly set on new years eve 1999 with the Y2K rollover. The problem is it just never feels like a 90'a movie. It feels like a modern movie in a modern setting with a group of friends throwing a 90's party theme. It just doesn't work. I made it to the 35 minute mark then gave up, it just wasn't going anywhere and I was bored at that point.
