The year is 2029. John Connor, leader of the resistance continues the war against the machines. Super-woke
This is basically the woke opposite of Terminator (the original movie). It literally gender-swaps the roles, so that Sarah no longer needs saving, and Reese is a wimp who does. Even though he just came through time from a life-and-death war against machines to save her, the little girl starts saving him immediately, through her psychic powers of knowing where he is without searching etc.
