I watched the subtitled version and the translation was pretty bad making the dialogue seem terrible. I'm not sure if this is just the copy I saw or if it's all like this. Early on there is a weird scene with an American soldier who speaks English even though nobody else does. His acting is terrible, and he's a horrible violent man who tries to rape one of the females. This small female takes a beating yet somehow manages to kill him and she is told it's fine by the Korean male because he's
vermin. She's suddenly a professional killer and there is a montage of her overpowering and killing a much larger man. It then jumps forward to when she's an old woman but still taking on contracts. One minute she's stumbling around with hands shaking so bad she can't even write then the next scene she's running full speed through the woods. It portrays her as some badass that everyone's afraid of but she's old, frail and looks like she weighs 80lbs at best. It's like watching a Korean Geriatric feminist John Wick rip-off. As far as I can tell pretty much all the men are bad and violent. The action scenes are ok but the story and writing makes no sense and is impossible to understand. It jumps all over the place and after 30 minutes I couldn't take it anymore. If there is a better translation for this it may be more watchable but I still think it's not a good movie.
