The Tank
A German Tiger tank crew is sent on a dangerous mission to rescue the missing officer Paul von Hardenburg from a top-secret bunker behind enemy lines. As they make their way through the lethal no-man's land, they must confront not only the enemy, but also their own fears and inner demons. Fueled by the Wehrmacht's methamphetamine, their mission increasingly becomes a journey into the heart of darkness.

Not Woke - just Bad - i watched it so you don't have to...
...to reason it - I would have to spoiler so I try not to.
Visuals are ok for a german production, but since it is a german production do not expect acting on par with Hollywood/HBO/Starz etc.
also the cinematography has a lot of room for improvement, having the Dieselcloud rising straight up and seeing the Tank only having traveled 50 yards.... breaks immersion and is something either while shooting or in postproduction should have been addressed.. but alas - it's a german production.
Can only report the original version and the dialogues are bad. Script and delivery is sub par.
Some visuals are nice - but everytime the Tank runs out of Diesel a plotdevice appears.
What was nice - it's not really a Movie telling you being german is bad, or the Troops were bad (ofc. one scene has to do with an SS Battalion doing SS things....) but that's about all I can say in a positive manner.
The Tank scenes reminded me a bit of the "Sabaton - Bismarck" video just this time with support from WoT.
The twist at the end seems lazy and makes a "meh" movie bad in my oppinion.
If you want a good german movie about ww2 stick either to Kapitänleutnant Prien (some bad acting) or Das Boot the 6h TV Version (just epic)

There is nothing woke here. A German WWII movie about a tank crew going on a mission to pick up an officer across dangerous territory. This is more of a drama really than a typical war action movie. There were only 2 action scenes really in the entire movie. The acting is ok I guess but not the best. The dialogue was not very good but that's possibly partially due to the translation (I watched the subtitled version). The real problem though is I just didn't really care about the characters. There's also the problem that the cinematography varied a lot. Most of the wide shots looked pretty good but the close ups looked like either green screen or CG enhanced backgrounds. It all just looked off somehow. Up until the end I might of given this 2 stars but that twist ending. Why? It just doesn't really work here and makes the entire movie just seem pointless. Even if your a fan of war movies in general it's hard to see any real reason to watch this.
