For streaming, not much woke here
I thought this movie was a Netflix-made movie, or Paramount or whatever made for streaming services. Usually, those kind of movies are excellent candidates for wokeness. I'm sure Blackberry injects a little bit of wokeness into the story, it wasn't noticeable. The story isn't too bad, if not just a little trite. If you're looking for kind of a fun watch without much of a DEI agenda, watch Blackberry.

Super
This award-winning independent film is wonderfully non-woke and entertaining. Thanks, Kurt, your review made me check it out.
The cast is almost entirely men, almost all White with some Asians. This is the story of a tech startup company in Canada, after all, and it was before Canada went into immigration overdrive. It's refreshing to see a movie try to be realistic in the casting. No black Queen of England here. The company in the film did hire a female secretary, though, and then all the nerds gawked at her, LOL.
