We Bury the Dead

Marketed as a zombie horror, it is NOT horror and barely zombies. It's a slow moving psychological drama. I think there was 1 single scene
where a so called zombie was an actual threat, otherwise they just stand there and do nothing. The writing is terrible and nothing makes any sense. There's an EMP weapon that supposedly killed everyone on the island and turns only random ones into 'zombies'. How does an EMP do that? Don't worry about it. Why does one random motorcycle still work like nothing happened? Don't ask. Even though it's an EMP and instantly killed people why are they all messed up and look like zombies in various stages of decay and mutilation? Just watch the movie and don't think too much. There are no scares and nothing resembling horror. It's boring drama with little story and nothing happens. As for woke, there are far too many female characters for the situation and story being told and they are more focused on then the males. They just had to through in a creepy emotionally damaged male character in the middle to be a random out of nowhere villain. Best to pass this one up.
