Main character has a moment where he questions his sexuality (debating whether Angel Demon could be pursued romanticly, but ultimately deciding against that)
And in general, the entire series is very female-dominated.
Outside of that the movie is fantastic! The action is wild, the romantic dillema is hillarious and engaging. And the last scene gave sent a cold chill down my spine

Not woke at all
This isn’t woke and it has nothing to do with those DEI policies that were already scrapped. There’s no forced storyline and no misrepresentation of characters. The only thing said in another comment is just what anyone might assume, since the character is pretty androgynous. So anyone could say that.
So if you like the show, go ahead and watch the movie without worrying.
