Looper
Hunted by your future, haunted by your past.
In the year 2044, time travel has not yet been invented but in 30 years it will have been. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they will send their target into the past where a looper, a hired gun, like Joe is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting rich and life is good until the day the mob decides to close the loop, sending back Joe's future self for assassination.

Die Hard Terminator
This time travel movie has an interesting premise, but the execution is weak. At least it is not woke.
There is an interracial couple, but you will notice that has not phased any of the reviews so far. It's fine when it's believable, not forced, and not over-represented.
Vague spoilers follow.
The interesting premise is undermined by 3 flaws:
1. Time travel paradoxes are poorly handled.
2. The telekinesis subplot is jarring.
3. Young "Bruce Willis" is unconvincing.
The way the writer deals with time travel paradoxes would be okay for The Orville, but I demand better from a non-comedic movie. One character even makes fun of the notion that time travel paradoxes could be resolved as they were in the film!
The telekinesis subplot comes out of nowhere. It adds a supernatural element at odds with the rest of the film. They did this because they wanted a "John Connor" who was not just a normal kid.
The actor who plays young "Bruce Willis" does not look like Bruce Willis. Aside from basic appearance, Bruce Willis' head is massively larger unless I was fooled by the camera angle.
I love sci-fi, but this movie is just okay. It takes too many liberties in twisting science, and it does not live up to its potential for fiction.
