Return to Silent Hill

This is another one that's a bit difficult to rate. Based on the game Silent Hill 2 it's not really a movie in the traditional sense so much
as it is an 'experience' much in the same way a game is. Everything here intentionally feels very video game like. Lighting, FX, camera angels
the way characters move and are framed in shots all feel like a game. Even the story structure is not traditional. I think unless you are very
familiar with the Silent Hill game franchise in general and Silent Hill 2 in particular this wont make much sense. I've played through the game
multiple times but it's been years and there's a good bit I didn't remember any more. Given the terrible reviews this has I'll say most people wont like it. As for woke there is a lot of DEI casting choices in background and secondary characters. This includes the black female therapist that was added for the movie and is nowhere in game. The character is pointless, unneeded and serves no purpose whatsoever. No surprise her acting is the worst in the movie. Normally this would only be a 1 for woke but adding a pointless DEI character not in the source material is getting an extra point. I thought it was worth a watch but it's probably a pass for the majority.
