Well this went from decent to trash in an instant. The first hour is rather interesting with a look at instant unexpected fame on a normal
person as well as a sort of meaning of dreams extension. It can be a little hard to watch sometimes because the main character is such a
neurotic, awkward, pathetic person. The humor is more subtle but the story holds your attention and isn't boring. Then at the one hour mark it's like an entirely different writer/director took over and it decided it wanted to make a statement on social media, cancel culture and mob mentality. The problem is every character becomes incredibly annoying and a disgusting person. Everything wrong with the idiocy and over emotional coddling of the Gen Z crowd in on full display. It completely ignores the plethora of legal action and lawsuits he would of been able to bring to bear on these ridiculous people's illegal actions taken against him. His wife suddenly out of nowhere turns on him, takes every opportunity to rail against him and blame him for everything and just generally becomes a horrible person. The ending and last final 10 minutes really goes off the rails and ruins any redeeming value
this might of had left. There is a fair amount of DEI and some general feminist nonsense. I don't know what the hell this was trying to be and I
don't think the makers of this do either.
