Æon Flux
Æon Flux is set in a bizarre, dystopian future world. The title character is a tall, leather-clad secret agent from the nation of Monica, skilled in assassination and acrobatics. Her mission is to infiltrate the strongholds of the neighboring country of Bregna, which is led by her sometimes-nemesis and sometimes-lover Trevor Goodchild. Monica represents a dynamic anarchist society, while Bregna embodies a police state.

Over-rated in my opinion
Missed this in the hey-days of MTV, finally got around to checking what the hype was about.
The first runs do a pretty good job of a suspenseful, dialog-less, condensed narrative, with each episode being under 5mn. And the main characters dies before the end of each episode. Music is different and appropriate.
The last season is closer to the norm: 22mn and dialog. And far less interesting.
Still, I couldn't get over the art style, and the pervasive sexual fetish imagery.
I can see how it could serve the underlying discourse, but I find it complacent, and thus gratuitously degenerate.
Not woke per se, but definitely proto-edgelordy of the time.
A miss for me.

Warning: In season 3 episode 4, Aeon kissed her clone (made by Trevor) 2 times for ABSOLUTELY UNKNOWN REASON. She kissed her clone, that's like kissing your own child🤮 (not in a good way).
Although none of the episodes are connected with each other. Even if Aeon dies in a episode she will just come back in the next one without any explanation. But according to episode 7 they are connected/same events happened with this Aeon or the memories have been transferred to this version of Aeon.
THERE ARE LOTS OF UNEXPLAINED MOMENTS.
