I really miss good, binge-worthy, TV like this.
From his roots in BBC Comedy sketch performance in Bits of Fry and Laurie to Stuart Little's adoptive dad comes the best Sherlock Holmes rendition I've seen yet. Doyle's classic character comes alive in modern day medicine. Something like this couldn't possibly be made today. The show goes head-on with issues involving gender, race, bigotry, misogyny, abusive law enforcers, wealthy bullies, etc. It's a shame that Shore went on to create the woke agenda based, The Good Doctor.

The best drama I've watched
This is genuinely one of the best TV series which I've had the pleasure to watch. Every episode is different, the characters are interesting and Hugh Laurie carries the whole series with great humor. It's basically Sherlock Holmes in a doctor's gown in the 21st century, it's awesome.
There is minor woke with one of the side characters where they make her a bisexual and you have some episodes forcing us to watch her and her gf and their relationship. It's short and obnoxious but out of 8 seasons, having a few episodes with woke is bearable. There is no gay stuff other than it and no victim politics, intersectionalism, patriarchy, women have it oh so bad or other crap the modern Left loves.

They Don't Make Em Like They Used Too
Gregory House is the most lovable ass-hole I've ever seen on television. Whenever I want a cleanse from all the current political-correctness, this is my go to. The jokes are unapologetic. The truths this man lets out are simply staggering. There is *zero* chance this would ever get funded nowadays, so you know it's going to be good!
The last few seasons do taper off, but overall it's well worth it. I never watch "medical shows", so I wouldn't let that stop you from enjoying this gem. Cherish the fact that this was ever produced, those days are over.
